You will have to increase their endurance and independence, often by teaching them manual therapy techniques, like chest pounding for cystic fibrosis.

If you are preparing to go into this career, a strong knowledge of the heart and lungs is mandatory. You won’t be treating the persons heart attack, but instead, helping them recover from it and ensuring that it will not happen again. The salary for this specialty is a little higher than the rest at 115,000 dollars annually.
