A sports therapist will help athelets return to action regardless of age, sport, or injury. In this job you have to truely be ready for anything. You will have to teach patients how to understand and prevent future injuries, help them deal with any physical or emotional trauma they may be experiencing, and ultamately return them to the field. You can work from the office, on the field, or a combination of settings. Sports therapy is truely one of the most exciting fields available.

Physics is especially needed here, as much of your work will be understanding the stress and trauma certain exercises and motions put on certain joints. Also, kinesiology, biomechanics, neuroanatomy, human growth and development, pathology, physical examination and therapeutic techniques and procedures will help tremendously in this field. The expected salary is 72,000 dollars yearly.

The job is expected to grow 27% by the year 2016.
